Stunningly beautiful, very large French landscape, oil painting, mounted in a substantial gilt wooden frame measuring 52 inches by 36 inches, painted it is estimated by Bonhams sometime between 1860 - 1880 in the French style. This commanding and very beautiful oil on canvas has been magnificently drafted by an unknown but highly talented hand. Provenance: It came out of a French Chateau and is very possibly by a major French artist.
