I have for sale a superb Victorian period, 1822/45 pattern, British Infantry Officer's sword & scabbard in excellent overall condition, by maker Dolan & Co. of London.
The blade bears some lovely frost etched engraving and the words "Worcester Rifles" who were formed in 1859.
The Gothic styled hilt is of brass and very ornate bearing the "39" and strung Bugle of that volunteer regiment. The Worcester Rifles saw service alongside the regulars in the Boar War.
